At Studio et al, we pride ourselves on our eye for detail and our use of the most important and timeless design principles which we apply to our furniture, interior and jewellery designs. We love to weave them into every design that leaves our studio along with beautiful textures, colours and quality materials, finishes and craftsmanship.

We look to the great masters of eras passed like Classicism, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Bauhaus, Brutalism and Mid-Century Modernism to inspire our contemporary, 21st Century aesthetic.

OUR STORY

Studio et al | Est. 2020

Founder and Creative Director, Carla Garro is a multi-disciplined designer with an Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Jewellery) and a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration. She started Studio et al with one goal in mind: To create beautiful, practical designs for the individualist, with a nostalgic homage in every piece produced.

Architecture and Art have informed many of Carla's design choices since starting out in Jewellery back in 2008. Without even realising, Art Nouveau and Art Deco influences began creeping into each piece of jewellery produced. The transition from Jewellery to Interior Design and Furniture was a very natural and organic progression. With a profound love of design, it is with pure joy that we are now able to weave our passions together in one place. Architecture + Design and Jewellery.
